THE "XENO" WITH THE TOAST FAMILY

The movie is very nice, you can enjoy the history, and learn about greek and american culture specially the differenciation of each culture

The principal problem that shows the movie are the  troubles with the families of each couple, for example the popular expressions  can affect the communication, the costumes and cultures are different and may be a barrier specially when a man and a women from different countries are going to get marriage, another problem could be the relations in each family, as i could see, Greek family is very big and it doesn't matter if a person is a distant relative, because they are important and are part of the center family, while american family has a different relation with their distant relatives, finally the traditions from each culture vary, so the unique solution in this case is TOLERANCE

GRAFFITI: ART EXPRESSION OF REVOLUTION!!!

According to Oxford dictionary a graffiti is “writing or drawing, scratched illicitly on a wall or other surface in a public place”, according to Longman dictionary: “rude, humorous, or political writing and pictures on the walls of buildings, trains, etc.” that subculture found a way of express feelings, opinion a philosophy of each social group, especially in the big cities, in Colombia my country, this kind of subculture have had a considerable space in the social-political development, due to the fact of violence, corruption and poverty. According to the survey Psychology: community approaches to contemporary social problems (2011): “In Colombia over years, there have been accumulating feelings of grief, anger and fatigue, caused by the prolonged armed conflict”, and that situation of conflict allow that Colombians and residents, express their thoughts, and a common method is the different graffiti in the wall of many buildings and streets.

In my opinion, the culture of graffiti is a way as a citizen or a specific social group exercised their freedom and their rights, because in our country although the violence and repression, the people can express with freedom their ideas, actually most part of changes in the country was made and published trough this artistic way. Graffiti from “Marcha patriotica” and other politic groups are changing in our minds the idea of inequality and violence. As negative point, sometimes the street art hide false ideals and affect the reputation of  other citizens, my recommendation is to make from this art an opportunity to became true the civilization of love and peace, improving the new model of revolution.

HOBBY, SPORT AND MUSIC IN MY OWN PERSONAL CULTURE!!!

If someone ask me: do you practice any sport? my question would be definitely negative, actually i don't practice sports, it doesn't mean that i hate them, because i consider sports are important, due to the fact that if you practice it your mind and body would be healthy, according to culture, sports shape your identity, trought sports, like soccer, basketball, tennis, etc, you define your personal culture, but no just sports set up what you are, and what do you like, in my specific case, my hobby, specially listen to music, show my real feelings and my real identity, because of what i am studing (law), i have to read a lot, so i adapted to this new lifestyle, and now i can consider that read is one of my new hobby, to read, to hear radio or watch tv, are now part of what i am, are part of my personal definition, and part of my own identity. Music as electronic, house, or pop are the principal kind of sounds that are related with myself, and are part of my personal culture.

I'm sure that this situation happens all the time with people, we are involved in the new tendency of music, sports, and generally in the middle of subcultures, those subcultures help us to determine our true taste, and ideology of life.

A HISTORY ABOUT THE STREET

1. matatus people are treated as careless, they have the image of "dissorganized drivers", for that reason in the street they suffer a lot of problems specially with the police, they are the most part of time breaking the mobility´s  rules
2. actually  in Barranquilla we have a concept of mototaxistas very similar as the concept that people have about the matatus, we think they don´t care about the traffic, due to the fact that in the "patios" of the mobility police you will see more motorcicles than cars or taxis

STOP RACISM

We are all the same, discrimination is a crime, the international agreements have recognized it, the ONU estabilished that all human been have rigths, it is also legally stablished in the countries, so is necessary that today people around the world understand the important definition of human rights, because in front of law black, white, assian, and afrocolombians are and have the same dignity.the conclusion is obviously:respect and tolerance are the best way of think, specially in a country with diversity as Colombia.

TWO WORLDS COLLIDE

About the first question: what is the different points of view do we see in this story?   
We can see two different lifestyles, the citizen lifestyle of the white man and the rustic lifestyle of the black one, in the text we recognize the daily routine of each one, both are in the same place, but they haven't the same way of living, the white man has a mentality of work very different than the vision of hard work that has the black men, one of them think about progess by capitalism and the other maybe doesn't know what this word means, the white man can not tolerate the black one for this reason, their worlds are not the same.
 And about the second question: explain the reasons behind the misscommunication that occurred between these two men: the misscomunication that ocurred betwen these two men is normal in the way as we understand it like a clash of customs:both are separated by class, by education, by lenguage and the principal difference, their culture, they live different lives, as the autor said: "they always will", it means that the black men and the white one always try to understand each other but it fail all the time, they live in different circles.
